Not for a second. I just wrote the show I wanted to write and what I found funny and hoped for the best. I am still shocked by its success and feel very lucky indeed. The best thing is that you do feel a sense of professional confidence and achievement. Its a pity it is just half an hour long, though I find Miranda the only comedy worth watching on bbc or any of the other cannels. Its good to find something you can Laugh at for a change. Miranda is the BEST thing on tv right now, series 2 looks like another winner.

The cast are fantastic and Miranda Hart is a gem!!!!!!!!!!! I can watch it over and over and not get bored. In series 1 where Miranda went on holiday is the best episode ever, I have watched it over and over and it still makes me howl with laughter. Keep up the good work Miranda you're great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the show!!!

Recently purchase Series 1 for my iPhone, only problem is that I can't really watch in while traveling on the tube as I keep bursting out laughing!!!!

I think most people who don't like the show are blokes who are not in touch with their "feminine side" my husband! I love Miranda I am 43 and so does my 11 year old daughter. We sit on the sofa and laugh out loud at the show. What a joy!! The first episode we watched was where Miranda attended a conference and had to stay in a hotel room with a trouser press series one We cried with laughter. I don't know what it was Perhaps because I am a 6ft 1" woman who is often called "sir", or the tradgi-comedy pattern of Miranda's love life, or that my best friend has all the mannerisms of Miranda It is a complete melange of many things we recognise and relate to Just finished watching "A new low".

What on earth is this doing on BBC2 - it's way better than anything BBC1 has to offer and without doubt the funniest thing we've seen this year. I absolutley wouldn't worry about your audience at home coz we love it!

Just really hoping there's a series 3 in the pipelines :D. What a real tonic you are Miranda! Just watched a re-run of last weeks episode 'a new low' from my flu bed. Well I laughed so much it brought on another coughing fit, but hey I'm not complaining! I definately identify with you, right down to your outfits. Do you buy 'off the peg' from the only retailer that stocks decent clothing for the upwardly mobile woman I wonder?

Any way enough of that. Thanks for your contribution to the rapid decline of British comedy and keep up the excellent hard work. Liz 6'1" and still counting! Well this morning life imitated art imitating life etc when I found myself acting out both Miranda and Penny's parts from Just Act Normal for the benefit of my counsellor. And why am I seeing a counsellor?

To help me cope with caring for my mother of course! Thank you Miranda, the series is just brilliant. It is up with Fawlty Towers now. Totally requested it for christmas, and live off of Miranda and ashes to ashes as my telly fuel. The pussy footing around nearly kills me! ALSO I laaaaaave the new series, to an almost sycophantic degree. Oh and Thank you for Miranda for something that is actually funny!!!!!
