Oracle can i delete arc files

You can unsubscribe at any time. I am not aware from Oracle database but some Symantec backup issues of SAP, it required delete all old archive logs from Oracle database. They have mentioned the following command, how to delete it.

If I delete as per below command on Production live system, what will the impact on system? What I take precaution before apply this command. Please guide me. In next delete expired archive log all; it will delete the unusable archive logs from the arch log directory. If you still need to keep backup of those arch files, take a manual copy of those archives into another directory.
