Andrew Wishart. The year-old wannabe singer, who made it to the final with Johnny Ruffo and Andrew Wishart last week, was named as the winner of the reality TV show after performing Aerosmith 's 'Cryin' for a live audience. After discovering he had won The X Factor , Mastin thanked his family, friends and mentor Guy Sebastian for supporting him throughout the competition and also his fans for their votes.

Keating wrote on his Twitter page: "After everything that we have seen as judges on xfactorau I think now I would like Johnny to win. He has work to do on vocals but potential.

The X-Factor proved to be something a whole lot more than what he and his Family could ever have imagined I did this for a better life for my Family Andrews future visions are of touring all around Australia with a band, and recording an album featuring his many self written songs; to sing and entertain for a living.

This proved to be a challenge as Andrew basically learnt the song in his car during the night before this audition. He also played in a few local bands and trios throughout Melbourne and rural Victoria, and has been singing non professionally for around 25 years.
